    COMPLAINTS

     

    Informal route

    Always first try to discuss your complaint with the relevant stakeholders. Also the programme management or study advisors (UvA or VU) can assist you. In case your issue/complaint can't be resolved the informal way, go formal (see below).

     

    Formal route

    For all complaints, even for appeals and complaints concerning UvA courses within this master, students should go to the VU complaint, appeal and objection webpage.

    CUM LAUDE

    When confirming the results of an examination, the Examination Board will award the citation ‘cum laude’ or ‘summa cum laude’ to students who have demonstrated exceptional ability. There is no need to apply, upon completion of all courses, the VU student administration checks. To see the criteria of qualifying as cum laude or summa cum laude, please see section 19.
